Soccer - Womens
                  Reminders for Pre-Season -  All interested soccer players must have a completed physical by August 15th.  If you are not cleared by the 15th, you cannot participate until your physical is completed and logged into the school system. -  Please bring cleats, shinguards, sneakers and something to drink for the practices.  We will be off campus, so we may not have access to filling water coolers. -  The teams for the season will be selected in 2 ways:  coaches' evaluations, and our program grading system which will consist of fitness, skill, sportsmanship, and punctuality.  The grading criteria will be posted on our website in the near future, so you'll be able to see what the staff is looking for. -  As posted in the pre-season schedule, tryouts will last 4 days.  After 8/18, the staff will select the teams for each level.  I want to remind everyone that the teams will be selected based on who deserves to be on each team, regardless of age, grade, or previous soccer experience.  We want everyone to compete at their highest level during this period, but we are anticipating over 60 players coming out for the program, so no one is guaranteed anything.  If you are coming out for the program to only make varsity, or you are only interested in starting at any level, this is not the right program for you.  We want players at all 3 levels, who are about the team, and what the coaches need them to do.  This is how programs win, and are successful, and this is exactly what the Watchung Hills Lady Warrior coaching staff preaches, TEAM first.  Make sure you look in the mirror and ask yourself if this is who you are.
