Watchung Hills Regional High School does not report class rank for the college application process. However, once a student has been accepted by the college/university, the district will make available to the college/university class rank for the puposes of financial aid or scholarship eligibility.
Each marking period, the names of students making honor roll status are recorded and published. A student who achieves a 90 or better in all courses and a "P" or "HON" in physical education qualifies for the high honor roll. A student who achieves an 80 or better in all courses and a "P" or "HON" in physical education qualifies for the honor roll.
The reporting calendar is divided into four marking periods of nine weeks each. Reports are carried home by the student except for the year-end report which is mailed home following the end of school in June.
All students midway in each of the four terms receive an Interim Report via mail. Parents of a student having difficulty in a course are requested to contact the teacher of that course. Interim reports do not become official or permanent records but are merely indications of current progress.
